Neither had we until quite recently. We noticed that their <a rel="external" href="https://bsky.app/profile/5thquartersports.com">Bluesky</a> account was getting a surprising amount of activity for a small site, so we combed through their archives to better understand who they were, and what bar they were setting for independent sports media websites sites.</p> <p>First off, this site is straight up disinformation. They are obviously attempting to push a bias narrative towards the fall of the NBA as well as personally attack honorable men in power. They also obviously have some kind of unhealthy obsession with NBA commissioner Adam Silver, going out of their way to slander him across well over 1/4 of their articles. For <em>what</em>? Just vague complains about the wealthy and authoritarianism? These sophomoric graphics simply allow them to bridge false premise to false premise.
